When it comes to the best ways to land new clients for my internet marketing consulting business, I just love the telephone.
Sure it’s not the only way and no doubt some folks really don’t like to pick up that ol’ phone and call people.
The thing is I have a fantastic cure for call reluctance or phone phobia as I call it, it’s simple and easy to learn no matter how much you hate the telephone!
The telephone gives you leverage over making in person calls and it also removes some of the factors that affect you closing deals.
With the right script and some proven voice techniques it’s scary how much business you can close over the phone, and that’s coming from one of the all time scaredy cats who trembled at the thought of picking up that phone.
People often say “yeah sure Andy you’re not that timid” because they see me on the camera without looking like a nervous wreck.
That’s ALL because of the methods I learnt and the simple techniques I practiced which transformed ability to close deals on the phone and get up and talk at workshops.
